Erm...nothing inspires me??

Right so, I'll keep this story short. At school Monday, my ELA teacher told my mom (who is now the MUSIC teacher AT MY SCHOOL) that there was this writing contest she heard of and she thought of me. Well, my ELA teacher thinks I absolutely ADORE writing, which I do...but I'm not like OBSESSED with it. But she thinks I do, and it's too late to tell her otherwise, so i gotta deal with it.

So this contest, you just write a short story, poem, or do some art thingys and enter it...but the project(s) that you do HAVE to represent something that inspires you. And truthfully...nothing inspires me. xD

I mean, the only thing I can think of is music, but I dunno how I'd put that into those...I mean, I guess I could write a poem about music inspiring me, but ah crap it, I've got no idea what to write. So does anyone have any suggestions on how I could do one of those projects with music?? xD

(Weird subject, I know, I'm just trying to post stuff and get this site active a bit more o: )

Well maybe if you tried to see what moves you in music for example, Music inspires me because of the great messages of hope and strength in the lyrics. Then just work from there.

And if that doesn't help try really brainstorming. What do you look to for strength in hard times? What would you think of lastly when you look death in the face?
